Manage portal users
The Users page lists everyone who can sign in to the portal for your company, and the invitations you have sent that are still waiting to be accepted. Only company admins see it: select Users in the sidebar.
A login only lets someone sign in. Roles such as rater, field inspector, modeler and QA designee are still reviewed by EEHM; propose them from the Staff pages (Manage staff and roles).
Invite someone
- Under Invite someone, enter their first and last name.
- Either pick them from On your roster (people on your staff who have an email on file and no login yet; their email is used), or enter their email address. If you type the email of someone on your roster, you're asked to pick them instead, so their login is linked to their existing record.
- Tick Make company admin if they should manage users, notifications, invoices and agreements too.
- Select Send invitation.
They get an email with a link that works once and lasts 14 days. They choose their own password and are signed in. If the address already belongs to an account EEHM has on file, the invitation still looks sent; the person is asked to contact EEHM when they open it, and EEHM sorts it out.
Someone on your roster without an email on file isn't listed. Ask EEHM to add their email first.
Resend or revoke an invitation
- Resend sends a new link, valid for another 14 days. Only the newest link works; an older one shows a page saying it was replaced.
- Revoke stops the link working at once.
Invitations EEHM sent are listed as Sent by EEHM; contact EEHM to change them.
Limits
Each invitation can be sent at most 3 times (the first email and two resends), and your company can send 20 new invitations a day. Past either limit you see "Invitation limit reached — try tomorrow or contact EEHM". EEHM is told and can resend for you. A send whose email could not be delivered still counts toward the 3.
Give or remove company admin access
- Make admin makes that person a company admin from today.
- Remove admin takes it away; they lose admin access on their next page.
Your company always keeps at least one admin, and you can't remove your own admin access: ask another admin. Removing someone's admin access also cancels any invitation they sent that would have made someone else an admin.
Deactivate a login
Deactivate signs the person out and stops them signing in again. You can't deactivate yourself or your company's last admin. Only EEHM can reactivate a login, so contact EEHM if you deactivate someone by mistake. Deactivating someone also cancels any invitation they sent that would have made someone else an admin.
Every change on this page takes effect immediately and notifies EEHM.
